The procession in 1648 was the first one where the guild of the Archers of Saint Sebastian was represented by a giantess with a longbow in her hand, the hunting goddess. 66 years later, in 1714, the guild presented a new giant named Indian. People noticed some striking similarities with the guilds previous giantess, the hunting goddess. Those days, it was quite common to repaint giants. Therefore, although theres no proof, it is possible that Indian and the hunting goddess are one and the same giant. Indian reminds us of the discovery of the American continent and the native Americans.
Indian is the tallest of the 3 giants, 4,45 m high and weighs 71 kg.
